Feriha (Hazal Kaya) is a clever and beautiful young girl who lives in a luxury neighbourhood but belongs to a poor family. Her father (Metin Cekmez) works as a maintenance guy in a big apartment block where the management provides them a small living place , at the grand floor of the building.
Feriha’s mother (Vahide Gordum) also helps her father through working as a cleaning lady in the same block. Feriha lives with her parents and her twin brother and sometimes helps her parents to do apartment chores. She collects the trashes, cleans the apartment stairs and carries out the orders of the residents.
Feriha is the only hope of her family. She gets accepted into a private university with a scholarship and immediately gets all the attention of most popular students. At university, everyone thinks that Feriha belongs to a rich family because she looks rich from outside: she wears her rich neighbors’ clothes and lives in a luxury neighbourhood.
However, one day, Feriha’s father comes to the university to visit her daughter and at that time, Feriha tells a lie to her friend. She gets embarrased of her poor father appearing at the university and that’s why she says that her father has sent that poor man, a maintenance guy, to the university to give her something. This one lie turns everything upside down. One lie causes another lie and many others.
This lie also affects Feriha’s relationship with Emir (Cagatay Ulusoy) who is a cool, handsome and rich playboy. They fall in love each other at first sight but Feriha never discloses that she is a daughter of a poor family.
In the girl named feriha (adini feriha koydum) tv series story, you will explore a difficult love of Feriha and Emir who are made for each other, yet from different worlds. Also, you will see the struggle of a poor girl among rich people. How long will Feriha be able to continue pretending to be rich? Will Emir discover the truth about Feriha? I am confused by this series. Do some of the episodes repeat? I have just watched another series that ends up in the air. Wasn't sure if I even wanted to watch this one but thought I would give it a try. Now people are saying that she dies. I do not need anything like that at this point in my life. I have too much sadness .People do not want sad endings.
I’m up to episode 14 and wanted to see how many episodes there were in total so I googled it. Unfortunately, I ran across the ending information with Ferinha being killed. This couple needed a happy ending, but the powers that hee had other plans. Too bad as my viewing of this series will abruptly stop at episode 14. For anyone planning on watching the Turkish series The Promise here’s a newsflash…..same kind of ending!
This was such a beautiful love story, unfortunately I did not like the ending of Emir and Ferihas love story! I wish they lived happily after after, especially after all those struggles and being apart for 3 years!!!! The way of Emir is so not cool! He mourns for his beloved for a while, and suddenly forgets about her, he even removes the bracelet! This is so sad... not what I expected...
Where can I find the happy ending of Feriha and Emir because I have red that they have changed the sad ending of feriha to a happy ending, where is it where can I find it, I love this series and love this couple
The ending has no meaning at all, after everything that Emir & Feriha went through they deserve a break. They suppose to be happy at the end, bring the families together poor or rich and happily ever after. Plz bring another season to rectify the mistake.
it is a nice show. I watched it while airing, and was sad because the ending.
The reason the ending is like that is because the show was renewed for a second season but the actress could not sign for S2 as she already signed for another project, so they had to kill her sadly.
First of all, I know this is a drama and this is my personal opinion.
Actually THE GIRL NAMED FERIHA is a very beautiful story. In fact, when you watch it, you forget that it is just a drama. Such a beautiful story. But such a beautiful story ended in an unexpected way (with feriha's death) that ruined the whole story. Because as spectators we expected a beautiful ending. However, because of that end, the whole story was useless.
THE WAY OF EMIR story does not seem to see because the person who fell in love with feriha eventually falls in love with someone else. What nonsense. feriha and emir, The sacrifices they made for their love, the suffering they suffered are useless at the end of the story. We hoped for an end to their suffering and conquest of their love, not an end to death. We know this is just a story. But because of the end of the story, the story lost its beauty.
WE NEED FERIHA AND EMIR IN SEASON 4 WITH A BEAUTIFUL END.

Feriha's death made the series to become bored because we were really waiting to see them happy with there family.
What a stupid ending for Feriha....death 😯😪😪 why should it end this way.??? Such pure love between these two people. It causes no willingness to watch the serie anymore. But it does not surprise me... Turkish series in general have tragic, non sense ending. What is the point of watching the movie when it has such ending.!!! People need to see more happy ending not exposure to sad one. World and the planet is not a happy place anymore. At least movies should encourage kindeness,love, happy ending, moral, principles and no violence.
