Synopsis

Sebnem (Hilal Altinbilek) has a dream home, a husband who is beyond her ideals, and two wonderful children. She has all the possibilities of a privileged life even though she started unluckily in her way.

Sebnem comes from a poor family but manages to climb to the top with her intelligence. She has been raised without love but she gets through all the hardships in her life. Sebnem becomes a very determined, ambitious, and strong woman who is known and admired by everyone.

While going to high school, Sebnem understands that she will not have a decent life even if she works so hard. Even though she is a successful student, a math genius, and studies with a scholarship, she makes a radical choice and leaves school. She decides to handle all the injustices and does everything to reach her dreams of a good life.

Sebnem works with some illegal bandits to earn money and goes through plastic surgery. She leaves everything behind including her own identity and her own family. She creates a new identity and acts as if she comes from a wealthy family. She decides to get a wealthy life through a shortcut and wants to find a rich husband. Eventually, she reaches her goal and attracts Onur (Yigit Ozsener) who is a prince charming for every woman.

Onur is the only heir of the Gumuscu Family and he comes from a well-educated and wealthy family. He has been raised with care and love. He falls in love with Sebnem and ends his long-lasting relationship with Melisa (Nesrin Cavadzade).

Sebnem manipulates Onur easily and persuades him to get married in a very short time. However, she cannot manage to manipulate her mother-in-law Aysel (Sumru Yavrucak).

Aysel does not approve of Sebnem from the very beginning but she does not want to be seen as a mother who hinders the will of his only son. Thus, she decides to fight against Sebnem secretly. Even though she learns about Sebnem’s past, she creates a new identity for her, erases her dark past, and recreates Sebnem as a “suitable bride for Gumuscu family” in order to protect their family name. She does anything to defeat Sebnem but she cannot become successful.

Sebnem has been living happily with her husband and two children. She becomes a role model in high society with her perfect life. However, years later, she understands that she cannot escape from her dark past.

All of a sudden, Sebnem finds herself in chaos. She kills Niyazi (Serkan Keskin) who starts to threaten her for money and after then, she buries the dead body in her garden. While dealing with the stress about this incident, Sebnem also tries to handle the police. However, the police officer who is assigned to this murder case is not an easy target.

Mesut (Onur Tuna) is a charismatic police officer who is known for his intelligence. He uses his psychology education background and approaches each case with full dedication. Mesut senses that the murder of poor Niyazi is somewhat connected to the wealthy Sebnem.

Sebnem Gumuscu (Hilal Altinbilek):

Sebnem has a dream home, a husband who is beyond her ideals, and two wonderful children. She lives all the possibilities of privileged life to the fullest even though she started unluckily in her way. She is an ambitious woman who has come from the bottom to the top, crushing everything in front of her. However, her glorious life begins to leak water due to the shadow of Sebnem’s dark side. For the first time, she is forced to walk a path that he could not foresee. She does everything to please his husband.

Mesut Ozturkmen (Onur Tuna):

Mesut is a charismatic police officer who is known for his intelligence. After studying psychology at a privileged university, he decides to become a police officer despite his family’s wishes. He comes from a wealthy family but prefers not to take advantage of his wealth. He becomes independent and wants to live as he wishes. He devotes himself to solving the mystery of the complicated cases. With his sharp mind and stubbornness, he successfully carries out his profession and solves complicated cases.

Onur Gumuscu (Yigit Ozsener):

Onur is the only heir of the Gumuscu Family and he is in his early forties. He is the perfect man for many women as he is a prince belonging to the lucky few who were born into a privileged life and grew up with care and love. Onur is a successful businessman who owns energy companies. Before marriage, he used to date Melisa whom he has known since childhood. After knowing Sebnem, he leaves Melisa and gets married to Sebnem in a very short time. After marriage; he is content with his life as a “family man” even though he sometimes misses the adrenaline-filled adventures.

Melisa Ozsoy (Nesrin Cavadzade):

Melisa is an attractive woman who comes from a well-educated and wealthy family. She loves attention and wants to make a difference with her attitude, and fashion icon style. She is known for her relationship with Onur even though she ended her relationship years ago when Onur fell in love with Sebnem. She starts to live in New York after she is left by his long-waited fiancée. In New York, Sebnem gets married but soon after, she gets divorced in a very short time. Sebnem wants to take revenge and returns to Istanbul to win Onur back. She is a candidate who fits Aysel’s bridal criteria and she cooperates with Aysel to defeat Sebnem.

Aysel Gumuscu (Sumru Yavrucuk):

Aysel is the queen of the High Society. She is in her early sixties, a well-mannered, knowledgeable, charismatic mother of Onur. Since she comes from a wealthy family, she does not approve Sebnem from the very beginning. Even though she learns about Sebnem’s past, she creates a new identity for Sebnem, erases her dark past, and recreates Sebnem as a “suitable bride for Gumuscu family” in order to protect their family name. Sebnem’s coming from the lower strata always bothers Aysel but she does not want to be seen as a mother who hinders the will of his only son. She always tries to weaken Sebnem and does her best to end his son’s marriage. In order to reclaim her own throne, Aysel makes cooperation with Melisa and tries to defeat Sebnem.
