Synopsis

The story takes place in the 13th century. During that time, Anatolia (today’s Turkish lands) was under Byzantine rule and at risk of Mongolian invasion. Establishment: Osman (Kurulus Osman) is the continuation of Turkish series Resurrection Ertugrul (Dirilis Ertugrul).

The people of the Kayi tribe always face the danger of the Byzantine Empire. However, people become more at risk due to the sickness of their leader, Ertugrul Ghazi. The power struggle among potential leaders weakens the resistance of the Kayi tribe.

Osman (Burak Ozcivit) is a successful warrior who is brave, fearless and determined. He is the youngest prince of Ertugrul Ghazi. His uncle Dundar (Ragip Savas), on the other hand, is a successful statesman and good at politics. Dundar tries to gain power by taking advantage of his brother’s sickness. He is ready to defeat whomever against him on his way to power.

While fighting internally and externally with his enemies, Osman comes across a brave and beautiful Bala (Ozge Torer). Bala also wants to protect her people and gets the attention of Osman. They fall in love with each other at first sight. However, betrayals and plots create big obstacles for their love.

Osman aims to create a bright future for his people. He not only fights against his enemies but also the traitors who seem to be his supporters. As he tries to establish a sovereign state, the Ottoman Empire, he has to combat bigger enemies. He does his best to secure independence of the Turks and stand against the Byzantine and Mongol Empire.

The Ottoman (Kurulus Osman) tv series story is about the first sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Will Osman manage to be successful in his mission of establishing a sovereign state for his people? Will Osman and Bala become happy together? Will Osman figure out who is his supporter and who is traitor?
