Synopsis

Iffet (Deniz Cakir) is a beautiful and innocent girl who lives in a poor neighborhood with her father Ahmet (Mehmet Celik) and her sister. Her father is so mean and tough towards Iffet. He does not want her to go out, speak with boys, wear chic clothes and so on. Despite these strict rules within the family, Iffet secretly meets her boy friend Cemil (Ibrahim Celikkol).

Cemil is a young and handsome taxi driver who loves Iffet so much and wants to be together with her all the time. One day, Iffet attends to a wedding ceremony in her neighborhood. Almost everyone in the same nighborhood including Cemil come to this wedding. While Iffet’s father is hanging out with his friends, Iffet and Cemil secretly leave the ceremony and go inside the forest in order to speak for a while. There, Cemil looses his control and rape Iffet.

This tragedy not only transforms the life of Iffet but also that of other people. After this tragedy, Iffet tries to forgive Cemil and wants to get married to him as soon as possible. However, nothing happens as expected. Cemil cruelly leaves Iffet and gets married to another woman just for money. Meanwhile, Iffet’s father learns her daughter’s relationship with Cemil and sends her away. Now, Iffet only wants one thing in this world: revenge.

  • Iffet - just finished watching chapter 40 as the END. Of this soap. Terrible ending. What a waste of time. They should have at least given 1 more episode to finish the drama. What happened to Gemil - did he die? Did he i heritage the other half? What happened with Iffet - does she recover her daughter? Does the abductor go to prison? What? What? What happened?!!!! So disappointed 😔 To the world - Do not air incomplete stories - shame on Peacock for airing this incomplete story. 😔😔😔😔

  • So now a rapist, abducter & abusive to others is a hero and all the women love him unconditionally? Unbelievable how this series even made it to TV.
    It started believable at first and I was even happy to see that Iffet married a real man, but when she fell for that A Hole again and ruined her husbands life, I lost it.
    This series made women seem stupid as hell. They were slapped and punched and made seem weak and without dignity. I give it 10 👎

  • I love watching Turkish TV. Great acting and plots BUT this story is shitty. How could a rapist who was forgiven, then left the pregnant girl to marry a rich girl for money, then sitting and watching the girl getting beaten to a pulp and losing her baby like a coward become a hero. He harassed a married woman and marry a girl he does not love just because his mother wants him to get married. It was suppose to portray Love but he is a narcissistic psychopath who harass Iffet . His perception of Love is all about gratifying his desire but not about making Iffet happy. The author is deluded or does not understand love, values, respect and principle. The title should have been CEMIL because he caused pain to everyone around him including Iffet.

  • Is this the endinding of iffet..Is her husband dead? What happen with iffet after shooting her husband.what happen the little girl.and the fake father?
    What a bad ending very worthless.

  • Thoroughly disappointed with the end. Sure sucks. After so much trials and turmoils, this young couple who finally has happiness didn't get to live their life happily with their children. Life cut short again with her shooting him accidently. I think the script writer just lost it. Yes women are portrayed as weaklings. I used to love Turkish serials. Now I think I'll stick to the Spanish and Mexican serials.

  • Iffet started beautifully but nt acceptable to keep running after a man Dats only wants money .iffet Shud have taught twice abt cemil .sad she didn't see right from wrng .wish for a better ending.i enjoy Turkish drama .my altym fav is Dolunay and Feriha .

  • I am really disssappointed! Lots of tv dramas of Ibrahim doesnt have an english subtitle! (refering to year 2010 - dramas) I hope soon there will be a favorable update on this PLEASE and can i request no more SAD ending - cant take it! Honestly!😇
