  • It is disgusting that a picture of a woman who is not actress Beren Saat was falsely used on advertisement and on DVD boxes tor Fatma-gul! Actress Beren Saat and the production company of Fatma-gul should come clean and publically apologize and remove all images that are not actually actress Beren Saat from all advertisement and promotion for the Fatma-gul series!

  • I've got a few questions about Credits for Fatmagul series: Is that Çetin Tekindor playing the role of Fahrettin, (father of Kerim)? Who plays the parts of Sami & Hacer? The credits both here, and on the network's as well as IMDB.com's sites do not give all the full information for credits. Also, I would love to know if the various songs in this series are all composed by the man who is given credit for the soundtrack, or if they are well known popular folk songs in Turkey. Can anyone answer any of these questions? Thanks!!

  • Plzzz watch the show properly, in so many instances it is mentioned that the girls who got raped eventually died either in the name of honour killings by their own families or by suicides. ML marries FL to protect her and even though he din't participate in the crime he feels guilty till the culprits are punished as he was a prime witness.

  • Shouldn't consummation after marriage be on free-will rather than forced!! If its forced its nothing else than marital-rape. It doesn't relate to religion/country, its basic humanity and as everyone around the world can relate to human emotions, this drama is a blockbuster.

  • I stumbled upon this drama may be after so many episodes.
As a Muslim I couldn't understand how a marriage could take place and yet consummation denied.
Though the religious identities of the cast were never mentioned, one assumed Turks were Muslims.
Never heard of marriage "on paper" before this.
The script lacks universal appeal on this score.

  • thisshow is a super duper hit in pakistan. the channel is showing it for the 4th time on fans demand and requests. people love it so much ENgin AKYUREK IS THE MOST FAVORITE TURKISH actor in pakistan.

  • he was the only one out of the group that didn't rape her , he was forced to marry her because the guys that did forced him to take all the blame

  • Although it is a well written show with good actors and actresses... I find this TV show quite absurd. The victim ends up married with one of the guys who rapped her? Really? That's out of reality!! He deserves to be in jail with the others guys.. yes he didn't actually penetrated here but he participated in the act.. he held her while the others did it... he is as blame as the other ... this is such an stupid show

    • he did not hold her or anything, he was not even near her and did not touch her, he was an accesory to rape as he hid the act and protected his freinds but he did not rape herand sadly in eastern cultures women are married of to thier rapists to conserve honor all cultures are different, seems like you did not watch the show as you got the story wrong.

      • He still grabbed her, and was complicit, and let it happen.

As for your comment about learning about other cultures, I don't care about "culture" when a woman is forced to marry her rapist; that is an issue if HUMAN RIGHT, and not cultural rights.
        Disgusting comment.
