Synopsis

Mehmet Musluoglu (Bulent Inal) is a successful lawyer who is struggling to cope with the death of his wife. After his wife committed suicide 7 years ago, Mehmet finds himself in a difficult situation. This tragedy leaves Mehmet emotionally distant from his teenage daughter, Doga (Dora Dalgic).

Doga blames her father for the death of her mother. When Mehmet tries to reconnect with her, she never accepts that and does her best to hurt him. She feels abandoned by her mother, father, and elder brother Cinar (Oktay Cubuk). Doga still harbors deep resentment toward her father.

The fractured relationship between Mehmet and his daughter Doga reaches a breaking point when Doga attempts to take her own life and forcing Mehmet to confront his guilt.

Meanwhile, Handan (Ebru Ozkan Saban)’s life turns upside down when she starts to suspect her husband’s infidelity. She has a 25-year happy marriage with Celal (Ragip Savas) and she has three children, Yasemin (Cagla Boz), Ruzgar (Ilber Kaboglu), Defne (Berna Cindil). She thinks that she has a perfect marriage with her lovely husband. However, she uncovers shocking truths that shake her to the core.

While working at her small business of wedding dresses, Handan receives a strange phone call. She is informed that her husband is in a hotel room with another woman. Torn between her loyalty to her husband and her own desires for truth, Handan decides to go to the hotel.

Handan finds out that her husband has an affair with Emel (Mine Tugay). Emel has been their friend for a long time, and at the same time, she is the boss of Celal. Emel’s son Ferit (Demircan Kacel) and Yasemin have a romantic relationship and have been dreaming of getting married soon. This makes their relationships more complicated.

When Handan learns of her husband’s infidelity, she finds herself in a dilemma: she can forgive his husband and rebuild her family, or walk away from a relationship built on lies. However, with shame of his infidelity, Celal decides to commit suicide.

The lives of Handan and Mehmet intersect out of pure coincidence. The choices they make in the face of betrayal, loss, and regret will have far-reaching consequences for everyone involved.

Mehmet wants to save his daughter from her suicidal path. While driving and at the same time trying to persuade his daughter, Mehmet hits Celal, who is intentionally taking the road. Mehmet leaves the accident scene immediately to reach his daughter as soon as possible and save her.

Mehmet regrets leaving the accident scene without helping the injured man. However, he has nothing to do but reach her daughter on time and save her life. He manages to save her daughter’s life but ultimately confronts the “debt of life” he carries for the family of Celal.

Can Borcu (Hidden Destiny) tv series story explores the intertwined fates of two families, each grappling with their own deep emotional struggles. How will Handan reach when she learns the infidelity of her husband? What will happen to Handan and her children when Celal commits suicide? How will Mehmet reach when he hits Celal? Mehmet Musluoglu (Bulent Inal):

Mehmet is a 50-year-old widower. He is a successful lawyer who can do anything for the sake of his son, Cinar, and his daughter, Doga. After his wife committed suicide 7 years ago, he finds himself in a very difficult situation. He doesn’t want his children to hate their mothers, and hence, he keeps some important facts about this suicide hidden. Since this tragedy, he has had some problems with his his children. Her daughter Doga blames him for this tragedy.

Doga Musluoglu (Dora Dalgic):

Doga is the daughter of Mehmet. She blames her father for the death of her mother. She even wants to commit suicide to hurt her father more. She goes to high school and lives as an isolated from her family and friends.

Handan Cakir (Ebru Ozkan Saban):

Handan is a strong but fragile woman. She is devastated after learning of her husband’s infidelity and finds herself in a crisis of confidence in her 25-year marriage. Without confronting her husband, she finds herself all alone. Handan starts a new life after her husband, Celal commits suicide and develops a stronger bond with her children.

Celal Cakir (Ragip Savas):

Celal is Handan’s husband. He seems to be a perfect husband but in fact, he has had an affair with Emel for 7 years. When he shakes his wife’s trust and struggles to face his past mistakes, he decides to commit suicide. His last wish puts an additional burden on his wife’s shoulders. Celal wants his wife not to disclose his infidelity to their children.
