Synopsis

Esref (Cagatay Ulusoy) is one of the top members of a powerful criminal organization known as “Orphans” in Istanbul. He is the owner of the luxurious Ravena Bosphorus Hotel in the heart of Istanbul, and at the same time, he controls the illegal gambling business as part of a mafia.

Esref is considered as a future leader of The Orphans. He has a high potential to be the successor after Yakup Baba, the leader of the Orphans, passes away. This situation creates some internal conflicts among the members of The Orphans.

Kadir (Gorkem Sevindik) is the second most influential member of the Orphans. He is Esref’s biggest rival. He is very ambitious, and he wants to take over the Orphans after Yakup Baba passes away.

In this power struggle, Esref needs to act more carefully. He has a strong team, Gurdal (Necip Memili), Muslum (Tolga Tekin), and Faruk (Ahmet Rifat Sungar). Esref trusts his team to the death because they have known each other since their prison days. Since then, they have been sharing the same room even though they live in a big mansion and they have lots of money nowadays.

Esref and his team find themselves in chaos. Now, they need to fight against not only their internal rivals but also external enemies.

One day, a wedding takes place at Esref’s hotel, hosted by a powerful family that is involved in the illegal drug business. Nisan (Demet Ozdemir) performs as the lead singer in this wedding and suddenly finds herself in danger. Esref jumps in to protect her, not realizing that she’s actually Ruya—the very woman he’s been searching for all these years.

This conflict at the wedding brings the lives of Esref and Nisan together after all these years. Esref feels an instant connection to Nisan, unaware that she is actually Ruya—the love of his life he has been searching for all this time. He is attracted to her at first sight and hoping for a sign, he subtly glances at her neck to check for a beauty mark he remembers Ruya had. When he checks Nisan’s neck and doesn’t see any mark, he convinces himself Nisan can’t be his great love.

Meanwhile, Nisan’s sister Afra (Ebrar Karabakan) finds herself in a terrible situation. While spending time with her boyfriend, an argument breaks out as Nisan tries to protect herself from an attempted assault. During the struggle, her boyfriend falls down the stairs and is seriously injured, leaving Afra caught up in a possible murder case.

Police inspector Cigdem (Busra Develi) wants to use this murder case to her advantage. She discovers that Nisan is actually Esref’s great love, Ruya, who has been searched for everywhere. In exchange for Afra’s safety, Cigdem convinces Nisan to become an informant. By this way, Esref will be betrayed by his great love.

Nisan has nothing to do but accept Cigdem’s offer to protect her sister. She agrees to work as a singer at the luxurious Ravena Bosphorus Hotel. She also agrees to secretly work for Cigdem and collects information against Esref.

As story develops, Nisan begins to see Esref differently. Despite his mafia ties, she senses goodness in him and finds herself drawn to him. At the same time, Esref is falling in love with Nisan without knowing that she is Ruya, the woman he has been longing to find all these years.

Eshref Ruya tv series story is about a mafia man, Eshref who develops a sincere love for Nisan while fighting against his enemies. How will Esref respond when he learns that Nisna is in fact his great love Ruya, the woman he has been longing to find all these years? Will Esref find out the betrayal of Kadir and manage to protect the Orphans? Will Nisan manage to protect her sister from being sentenced for murder? Esref is one of the top members of a powerful criminal organization known as “Orphans” in Istanbul. He is the owner of the luxurious Ravena Bosphorus Hotel in the heart of Istanbul, and at the same time, he controls the illegal gambling business as part of a mafia. He is cool, fearless, serious, and dignified. He rarely speaks. Beneath his cold appearance, he has a deep world of emotion. He has been in love with Ruya (Dream) since his childhood, and he does not stop tirelessly looking for his great love. He doesn’t know the real name of his great love, where she lives, or what she does. But, he aims to find her no matter what.

Nisan Akyol (Demet Ozdemir):

Nisan is a talented musician. She tries to do her best to provide a living for herself and her sister. After her parents pass away due to an earthquake, Nisan becomes a guardian for her sister. To provide good education for her sister, she even drops out the school and starts working as a singer. She is an emotional, responsible, cheerful woman who does not lose her childlike spirit. On the one hand, she is trying to support her house, on the other hand, she is trying to advance her music career.

Cigdem Serim (Busra Develi):

Cigdem is a successful, ambitious, and obsessive police officer. She works as a commissioner in the Anti-Organized Crime Unit. Her biggest goal is to destroy the Orphans and imprison Esref. To reach this goal, she gets involved in Esref’s team, but she develops some feelings towards him. After everyone finds out her identity, she tries to do her best to imprison Esref. She still has some feelings towards him.

Gurdal Bozok (Necip Memili):

Gurdal is Esref’s right-hand man and most trusted friend. He is funy, fearless, brave, and for this reason, he is called “Crazy Gurdal”. He is fond of women and has several love affairs at the same time, charismatic and flirtatious.

Irmak Bozok (Ceren Benderlioglu):

Irmak is Gurdal’s sister and the general manager of Ravena Bosphorus Hotel. She is detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and meticulous. She is the only woman in Esref’s team.

Faruk Sezeri (Ahmet Rifat Sungar):

Faruk is the youngest of Esref’s team. He has a high analytical mind. He is an intellectual man who seems to be more fragile than others. He used to work as a blue-collar worker and lived happily with his wife. After learning of his wife’s infidelity, he killed the man who was having an affair with his wife. He meets Esref at the prison and starts working for him after getting out of prison.

Muslum Cermik (Tolga Tekin):

Muslum is the eldest of Esref’s team, the older brother of the team. He is calm and silent. He comes from a conservative family. He doesn’t talk with his father despite all his intentions to reconcile. His greatest wish is to get along with his father, who has never approved of his involvement in illegal activities. He has some feelings towards Irmak but he knows that he cannot have a romantic relationship due to his mafia business.

Kadir Yanik (Gorkem Sevindik):

Kadir is the second most influential member of the Orphans. He is Esref’s biggest rival. He is very ambitious and he does not refrain from betraying his friends to be a leader. He wants to take over the Orphans after the leader passes away.

Afra Akyol (Ebrar Karabakan):

Afra is Nisan’s sister. She is young, beautiful, irresponsible, and selfish. She studies fashion design at a private university, where Nisan tries to do her best to pay for the tuition. Despite Nisan’s warnings, she acts carelessly and finds herself in trouble.
