Biography: Haluk Bilginer was born in June 5, 1954. He won his first award at Demokrat Izmir Gazetesi high-school theatre competition. After graduating from State Conservatory, he started to work at Ankara State Theatre. In 1977, he went to UK in order to study at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He took part in various tv series and movies in UK between 1980 and 1993. He came to Istanbul in 1987 in order to shoot the movie of Gecenin Oteki Yuzu and met his first wife Zuhal Olcay. He founded Theatre Studio (Tiyatro Studyosu) together with Ismet Levendoglu and Zuhal Olcay in 1990 and also founded Play Studio (Oyun Atolyesi) together with Zuhal Olcay in 1999. He took part various theatre plays such as Aldatma (Harold Pinter), Kan Kardeşleri (Willy Russell), Derin Bir Soluk Al (Ben Elton), Copluk (Turgay Nar), Histeri (Terry Johnson) ve Balkon (Jean Genet).

Synopsis
Mrs. Melahat (Melek Baykal) loses everything after her husband goes bankrupt and then passes away. She and her daughter Tugce (Zeynep Dortkardesler) need to forget their wealthy life and start to find a way to survive. Their former driver Nuri (Zeki Alasya) learns their situation from the news and wants to help them.

Nuri is a very old driver who starts his own taxi company after retirement. He is the owner of a taxi station named Akasya Duragi where many taxi drivers work. He acts responsibly for his former employer’s family and finds an old but a cozy house in his neighborhood. Mrs. Melahat and her daughter Tugce move in to their new house and start to have a new life in this friendly neighborhood.

Synopsis
Samim (Ugur Yucel) is a 45 years old man who has never taken a significant responsibility in this life. He is working as a waiter on cruise ships and travels from one country to another as an unmarried carefree man. While he is working on the cruise ship and going towards Caribbeans, he gets a phone call and learns that his sister and his brother-in-law have died in a traffic accident.

Synopsis
Two brothers Metin (Ahmet Kural) and Ali (Murat Cemcir) are plumbers with no scientific education. Ali is a widower but still goes around his ex-wife. Metin is in love with the pharmaceutist at the neighborhood but cannot gain her hearth no matter what he does. Their sister Feyyza (Seda Bakan) works at the gas station and secretly loves the gas pumper.

Synopsis
Cazibe (Aslihan Gurbuz) is an Azeri woman who immigrates to Turkey. She decides to have an arranged marriage with a Turkish citizen in order to get a work permit. This marriage would be on paper and would last for 3 years according to the agreement.

With the help of a matchmaker, Cazibe finds a man in financial trouble. Kemal (Hakan Yilmaz) is a Turkish citizen who works at importing company but has financial problems. Kemal decides to get married to Cazibe so as to get a substantial payment in return. He does not meet Cazibe before marriage and sees her at his wedding day.

Kemal and Cazibe get married and agree to stay married for three years. They think that they would not see each other again and this marriage would be on paper. However, nothing works out as planned.
