Biography: Seray Gozler was born on august 28, 1961 in Adana. She graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Theater. She is known for her roles as “Sule” in Super Baba, “Hayriye” in Dış Damat, and “Sevim Abla” in Zoraki Koca. She worked at the Istanbul State Theater, and took part in various cinema and TV series. She is married to state theater actor Saydam Yeniay and has a son named Ege.

From the interview with Seray Gozler

How would you describe yourself in a nutshell?

It’s really hard to explain yourself. I’m at peace with myself… My problem is with myself, I want to be the ideal person as much as possible, of course… I am witty and cheerful in my own way.

What kind of emotions did you feel when you graduated from the theater department of the university?

I was both excited and very happy to do what I love and want, and there is always excitement.

Was acting your dream?

In a word, “YES!!!”

Have you played the roles you want to play in TV series or movies, or are there roles that stick with you?

There have been roles that have remained in every actor, and there have been roles that I have not been able to play, of course. I have not played the characters I did not want. I love all the characters I play because they’re my friends.

Is the tv series or the theater stage more important for an actor?

There can be no distinction between a stage or a series, both are our jobs. A player is a player everywhere.

Do you have any hobbies?

My hobbies may vary depending on my mood. My biggest hobby is doing Yoga.

Do you have any players you like?

There are a few names in the sector that I find talented, and I think they are really nurtured in terms of acting. Burcu Biricik, Birkan Sokullu, Olgun Toker. Very talented young fellows, they show promise.
