Biography: Deniz Barut was born on March 29, 1983 in Denizli. After completing her primary and secondary education in Denizli, she moved to Izmir to pursue her passion for volleyball. She graduated from Bahcesehir University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Photography and Video Production. Her photographs were later exhibited in various exhibitions in Turkey. In 1997, she participated in the Elite Model Look Beauty Contest and became the second-ranking. In 2000, she ended her volleyball career and moved to Istanbul. After then, she took speaking and diction lessons at Can Gurzap’s Dialogue Institute. She also took acting lessons at Sahika Tekand’s acting academy, Studio Players. Deniz Barut started working at Turkish broadcasting channel Star TV, presented news, sports, and lifestyle programs. Deniz Barut made her professional acting debut in 2006 with the TV series Lost Years. In 2018, she also started to write for the literature magazine Kafka Okur.
