Biography: Mehmet Yilmaz Ak was born in 8 February 1986 in Diyarbakir. After graduating from Kadir Has University, he took part in various theatre plays at private theatres. In 2008, he also wrote a theatre play named Fifth Step (Besinci Basamak) and won an award by Mitos Boyut. He became well-known with his role as Ersoy in Turkish series The Pit (Cukur).
