Biography: Serra Pirinc was born on June 19, 1997 in Istanbul. After her secondary education, she decided to do acting and took acting training at Theater Teras. While living in Yalova with her family, she moved to Istanbul to study at Bahcesehir University. Her acting adventure started when her talent manager Rezzan Cankir discovered her on Instagram. She went to Rezzan Cakir Acting Agency upon the invitation but now she has been working under the UK Iletisim Management Agency. She is known for her character Mujde in the TV series Our Story (Bizim Hikaye). She is 1.68 meters long and weighs 50 kilograms.

From the interview with Serra Pirinc

You have a large fan base. How does this make you feel? How do you deal with criticism?

Of course, being loved makes you feel good. I try to take into account all criticisms, good and bad; realistic ones, of course.

What was your childhood like?

I couldn’t have had a better childhood. When I look back, I would like to thank my family a thousand times for giving me many memories that I remember happily in every sense.

How do you spend your time when you are not working?

I try to spend time with my cat and dog when I am not on set. Because when I’m on set, I have to make time for them as they stay home alone.

When did you decide to become an actor?

When I was younger, I was very curious about the world of television. I used to imagine myself there. When I went to the cinema, that magical world drew me in and made me want to be an actor.

While living in Yalova with your family, you moved to Istanbul to act. What would you give up for your profession?

Actually, I came to Istanbul for university. Then my biggest luck in life was that my talent manager noticed me while searching on Instagram. He then texted me. It all started when he called me into his office. My parents were a little hesitant about it. I introduced them to my manager and persuaded them sweetly. If you want something from the heart, no one will stand against it. I also give up everything for acting. I spend years acting.

Which of the theater, cinema or TV series acting do you plan to pursue?

Right now, I’m just acting in TV series. I haven’t had the opportunity to act in theater or film yet. I am at the beginning of my career, but over time I want to see myself in cinema and theater.
