Synopsis
Eleni (Ava Yaman) is a young girl who is a genius with an IQ of 175. She graduates from high school at 14 and becomes a doctor at 20. She lives in Athens, Greece, and does everything to get her parents’ attention and love. However, she is always left alone even in her most special days and not acknowledged by her parents.
When Eleni’s father passes away due to a heart attack, Eleni learns that she is an adopted child. She has been raised as a Christian Rum but in fact, she is originally a Turkish girl. She doesn’t know anything about her biological parents, including their names and addresses. She only learns which village her biological mother comes from.
Eleni’s life turns upside down with this truth. She decides to go to Turkiye to find her biological parents. Her adopted mother, Melina Miryona (Gercek Alniacik), wants her to stay in Greece, focus on her career, and become a successful doctor. Melina disagrees with Eleni’s decision and does everything to persuade her daughter to forget her biological parents. She doesn’t say anything about Eleni’s biological parents, even though she keeps lots of secrets from the past.
Based on her father’s letter, Eleni goes to Trabzon to find her biological parents. She knows that her biological mother is from Furtuna Village, Trabzon. She is appointed as a village doctor there. While working there, she hopes to find herself, her mother, and her father. However, she finds hatred, feud, and fighting.
On her first day, Eleni meets Esme Furtuna (Deniz Baysal) and Adil Kocari (Ulas Tuna Astepe) without knowing that they are her biological parents. Esme shoots Adil while they are discussing, and Eleni saves Adil’s life as a newly appointed village doctor.
Esme is a rebellious, stubborn, and strong woman who is the village chief of Furtuna Village. She is Eleni’s biological mother but she doesn’t know that. This is because, when she gave birth 20 years ago, she was told that her baby girl had been born dead.
Adil is a rebellious and impulsive man who is the leader of Kocari Village. His family owns a livestock business and provides employment for the local community. He is Eleni’s biological father even though he is unaware of the fact that he became a father and his daughter was sold to a Greek family years ago.
Esme and Adil met 20 years ago when they were young, fell in love at first sight, and wanted to get married. However, their pure love couldn’t save them. They got separated by the evil plans of three persons from the Furtuna village: Serif (Aytek Sayan), Hicran (Burcu Cavrar), and Zarife (Yesim Ceren Bozoglu).
20 years ago, Serif, Hicran and Zarife came together and made an evil plan to separate Esme and Adil. Each of them had their own reasons for this separation: Serif was in love with Esme and wanted to get married to her. Hicran was in love with Adil and wanted to get married to him. Zarife had an unlasting feud towards the Kocari family because her husband was killed by Adil’s father. Zarife didn’t want a Furtuna village girl to get married to a Kocari village boy, and instead, she wanted to support her brother-in-law, Serif.
While Esme and Adil were running away from Trabzon to start a new life together 20 years ago, they became the victims of an evil plan. Adil was sent to prison. Esme was forced to get married to Serif because she was pregnant. While Adil was in prison, Esme had nothing to do but to get married to Serif on paper to protect her baby. She gave birth to a baby girl but she was told that her baby girl had been born dead. Meanwhile, Adil got out of prison but he could not learn why Esme got married to another man. He thought that he was betrayed by his lover and never forgave Esme.
Even though Esme and Adil now have different lives, they never stop loving each other. They fight all the time as leaders of two enemy villages. Esme is still married to Serif on paper while Serif has been in prison for 20 years for killing Adil’s father. Esme still stays loyal to Adil, loves him so much, and keeps her secrets deep inside her death. Adil never gets married to another person and still loves Esme even though he thinks that she is a married woman.
The lives of Esme and Adil change all of a sudden when Eleni comes to Trabzon. Both of them start to develop a deep bond with Eleni without knowing that they are her biological parents. Eleni’s arrival starts to uncover secrets buried in the past.
Eleni’s arrival becomes a big threat to Serif, Zarife, and Hicran. They know that they would be in danger if their evil plan 20 years ago is revealed. Hence, they do their best to send Eleni back to Greece. Meanwhile, Esme and Adil protect Eleni all the time and treat her like a daughter. At the same time, Oruc Furtuna (Burak Yoruk) starts to develop some feelings towards Eleni.
Deep in Love (Tasacak Bu Deniz) tv series story is about the lives of two stubborn and rebellious lovers, Esme and Adil, who have been separated for 20 years but get united with the arrival of their biological daughter from Greece. Will Eleni manage to find her biological parents? Will Adil forgive Esme after learning what happened 20 years ago? Will Esme and Adil get united even though they have fought for 20 years?
