Synopsis
Murat (Cansel Elcin) is a young but a successful musician. After spending many years in abroad, he returns to Istanbul where he was born and raised. One day, while he is wandering around with his friend Levent (Onur Saylak), he comes across a young girl who makes her living by selling flowers and occasionally singing in a band.
Murat hears potential in her untrained voice and takes a bet that he can transform this unrefined, flower girl Hasret (Tuba Buyukustun) into a lady. This bet changes not only the life of Murat but also that of Hasret.
While Murat is trying to turn this gypsy girl into a lady by teaching her to speak, sing and act properly, he encounters with the other side of Turkey. During the process of transformation, both Murat and Hasret discover a love and a different world.
In becoming a lady (gonulcelen) tv series story, you will explore a huge transformation of a free spirited young woman with a foul mouth. Will Murat manage to transform Hasret and win the bet? Loved the show but once again tuned in for Episode 110 and still not in English. Please complete it in English. The show is so delightful!!
Once again it is amazing how this story is still not completed in English. One can view it in Spanish and now we are stuck at 100. Let’s complete it so others can enjoy this sweet story without the stops and starts. All the actors offer so much character and it is a delighful tale. The disappointment today was so disheartening when Episode 100 could not be viewed. It seems with modern technology translation would not be a problem.
I watched the entire series, but it abruptly ends at Episode 99. I am certain there is more to the series. How do you access Episode 100 on, to see what ends of happening to the characters? If not available now, when will the rest of the series be available on YouTube?
We watched the 160 episodes of Black Money Loves with intense fascination. Character development, direction, plot development, story-line, and pace all came together in a symphony of intense intrigue pitting the two protagonists against every warp and woof possible. Elif finally figured the merry-go-round out and bailed to a place of safety and tranquility followed by Emer.
Whether is the direction, the plot layout or story-line, Becoming a Lady after a relatively strong start and the shared. belief of Hasret and Murat’s legitimate relationship growing into a genuine wonderful love story; we go into the weeds with Murat being tricked by juvenile Bahar and seems mired in a miasma of non-will. Why does Murat appear in a doe-eyed trance when it comes to his declaration of feelings for Hasret. Is he so cowed by Turkish custom to forgo his strongly and wonderfully developed feelings for an inexplicably explained moment to Bahar. Surely he has more credibility with Hasret than boorish Levent, to whom she has run to in fit of immature schoolgirl pique. The episodes from about 67-72 devolve into a high school game of love and spite. It’s too good and should be tightened up. The actors deserve it, the earlier storyline demands it; and for godsake the audience desperately needs it.
WHY ARE WE NOT ABLE TO PURCHASE OR VIEW BECOMING A LADY EPISODES 47-56 IN ENGLISH SUBTITLES?
Enjoy watching Becoming a Lady with English subtitles, have seen up to episode 55,but cannot get from 56 and beyond in English subtitles, but have seen in Turkish and Spanish subtitles. Hope we can continue the episodes, we have been watching it on YouTube please let us know how we can continue so we can see the ending of the series.
I agree! It will take 2 years to finish Becoming a Lady in English with only 45 min segments. Why can’t the shows be doubled up and have the translations more than once a week?
With modern technology quicker translations of shows should not be difficult.

How do I see the second season of Becoming a Lady with English subtitles? Do you have episodes from 31 on with English subtitles?
I’ve been watching Becoming a Lady on YouTube with English subtitles. My question is, why are the episodes only shown one per week? This week is episode 30. It’s not like it’s a brand new series. It was made many years ago. So, it’s not like they are currently filming it. Why aren’t all of the episodes with English subtitles available?

Loved the music,songs and i think that Cansel played piano. He is a very very talented actor and desserve to be known as so. Tuba performance was also very well.
