Omer (Engin Akyurek) is a young man who works at organized crime branch in Van (the city in the Eastern part of Turkey). He is an idealist police officer who has chosen this occupation after his father was killed years ago yet his murder case could not be solved.
Omer wants to do his best so that no other crime cases remain unsolved. That’s why, he even postpones his engagement in order to fulfill his recent assignment. Upon being successful, he is granted with a success award and one month leave from the workplace. As a vocation, Omer immediately goes to Istanbul where his family and his fiancée live.
On the other hand, Elif (Tuba Buyukustun) is a successful designer who works at jewelry business. She lives happily in Italy apart from her wealthy family, mother Zerrin (Nebahat Cehre), father Ahmet (Aytac Arman), sisters Nilufer (Bestemsu Ozdemir) and Asli (Hazal Turesan). Elif goes to Istanbul where her family lives in order to celebrate her birthday with them.
The lives of these two persons cross because of a murder. Omer loses his beloved fiancée while Elif loses her father in the same car. They try to understand why these two persons are in the same car, how they know each other and why they are killed. Soon after, they realize that this murder case is related to diamonds.
Omer finds one diamond in his fiancée’s room and one diamond in the car where dead bodies are found. Meanwhile, Elif has been asked to bring diamonds if she wants to save her little sister who is kidnapped by mafia members. At this situation, Omer and Elif have nothing to do but to act together.
In black money love (kara para ask) tv series story, you will explore the lives of Elif and Omer, who are two strangers but are forced to share the same fate by losing their loved ones. Will Elif and Omer manage to find the truth behind the murder case? Will Elif save her family from the diamond mafia?

I have loved this drama/romance so much. Definitely a love story with depth and such a tear jerker. I appreciated the themes of sincerity, truth, deceit and the havoc it can cause in a relationship and by extention to the world at large. Omer and Elif have a connection that is so palpable on the screen, kinda reminds me of Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Engin and Tuba together are so deserving of all their award nominations. The music tops the cake, it is so emotive, makes me cry everytime. Eventhough the songs are Turkish it speaks to you in any language. On a side note, it impressed me so much I've started learning Turkish! Hows that for influential...
Well I love many things about this drama. The setting, some of the traditions, the good examples of mothering and family life and the fashions. I did not like how people did not allow others in the family to carry out personal agency. Elif wants to shoulder the lives of her sisters and makes such a mess. What saves her is that she doesn't act with self-interest and just wants people around her to be happy. Her trust is misguided and Bahar is easily manipulating her. Pelo and Adta are a good supporting couple. Overall, Bahar is the sleaziest character, worse than Metyin and Tavyyr the bad guy.
Please continue airing black money love. It’s terrible that you left us hanging such a great love story with a twist. Please continue on Netflix. Thanks
I started watching it but stop at episode 9 or 10 and I want to continue. Are you telling me that the whole series is not on Netflix? They are only showing a few of the episodes?
Many people want to purchase the DVD series of Blck Money Love in Turkish with English subtitles. Why can't the Netflix version be released to the public in the future. It seems very unfair to those of us who really loved this s series that we can not count it among our treasures...HELP!!

Give us season 2 and 3 of Turkish Black Diamond Love......Tuba is very nice and the chemistry of Engin Tuba is amazing. all their scenes are so much fun to watch .Great chemistry. Beautiful couple amazing duo we should have them more often especially season 2 . I would like more of their story together. to include her sisters and their children and parents
